RT Book Reviews proclaims that the O’Brien Family series from award-winning author Cecy Robson “has the hottest brothers ever!” And in Crave Me, it’s time for the sole sister in the family to discover love.

Wren O’Brien isn’t your typical female. As the only girl from a loud Irish family with seven siblings, she prefers fast cars to lip gloss and bad boys to good men. It’s the reason she’s nursing a wounded soul and keeping her distance from a dangerous ex.

Evan Jonah is running an empire and just moved from the lavish thoroughfares of London to the gritty streets of Philadelphia. When he walks into the nearest dealership, he’s expecting to find a reliable vehicle to handle the brutal winters, not a sexy female car rep with killer legs.

Wren doesn’t know why “Hotness in a Suit” asked her out. She doesn’t expect a great time or a night of passion that knocks her on her ass. But that’s exactly what Evan shows her.

She also never counted on how hard and fast she’d fall. But men like Evan—good men with even better hearts—don’t desire tough-talking Philly girls for long.

Evan has never met a woman like Wren. But he’s up for the challenge and ready to prove her wrong.

I have been trying to get away from reading all self-help books. I have only recently discovered that I love romance books. I even have the Audible romance package. So when I found an opportunity to listen to and review Crave Me, I jumped at the chance. I will admit I was somewhat nervous about accepting an audiobook for review, I mean what if I couldn’t understand the narrators then I would feel horrible. If you have been reading this blog, you will remember that I got Cochlear Ear Implants a couple of years ago. One way to get your brain to connect sounds with words is to listen to a shit ton of audiobooks. I was born profoundly Deaf, so there weren’t high hopes for me, but i showed them all! I am a superstar with my implants.  And I understood Crave Me perfectly. No problems at all
A word about the narrators. There is a man who has some kind of accent. Being able to hear for only three years I am not exactly sure WHAT accent it was but damn it was hot and that was my favorite part of the narration. All of the others were good also. They were all clear and easy to understand. So if you are reading this and you have Cochlear Ear implants, as long as you can understand spoken words well you should have no problems understanding this. The only issue is with the dude with the accent ( seriously y’all if you listen to this book and you can place that hot and sexy accent  drop me an email and tell me what it is!) The Drs have told me I am in the top 1 percent when it comes to hearing and understanding spoken speech so I did not have a problem understanding the dude with the accent but some CI users might so I just wanted to throw that out there.
The plot itself was soooo good! It kept me riveted to my phone wanting to know WHAT HAPPENED NEXT? Then at the climax at the end of the book, it was intense. That is right, it leaves you wanting more, and I found out that this is a series, so I am gonna read the first two books and all that comes out after this one.

The romance bordered on sweet and hot and streamy. There aren’t any very graphic sex scenes, or at least the sex scenes were not that graphic from what I have read before. For this, I am kind of glad. This book actually has a plot, AND it tackles the authentic experience of a domestic violence victim, so it is not all fucking on every other line. I will take a book with a real plot over word porn any day.
Even though this book is part of a series, it can also be read as a stand-alone. I did not feel as if I was missing crucial info that would interfere with the enjoyment of this book. I loved this book so much though that I am gonna check out the rest of the series that is already out and you can be sure when the next book comes out I will be reading that too.
