September 2018 Goals

Äugest was a bust goal-wise. I did move back to my parents’ house for a while. I did get a lot of sleep. Something about being at my parents made me able to sleep, and after months of no sleep or very little sleep, I had a LOT to coach up on. I slept for the last two weeks. I must say I feel tons of better. I also dd not listen to any audio books as I lost my implant charger. Advanced Bionics sent another one free of charge, but Fed Ex had trouble finding my parents house. Granted we are deep in Appalachia here, but my parents live near the main road, so I am not sure what the problem was. I finally got them this past Saturday so I can hear and listen t my podcasts and audiobooks.

My computer decided to quit working for a week then somehow fixed itself. The week that it did not work I was ready to cry but thank God it is working now.

I declared last month Get some Damn Sleep month and it worked! I have decided that in addition to the goals I have set before I am going to set a new goal for the month. October I am making Drink Some Damn Water. You should drink half your body weight in oz so for me it will be 135 oz. I always feel better when I drink enough water. My focus is better my skin is better, and I am all around better with water. I will also be getting my sleep in.

Read at least ten books

I want to get back into reading this month. I haven’t read that much this year and that to me is sad. I am not sure what happened. It is like I biked and it is now September. I feel as if this tear has got away from me.

Listen to at least five books

It is really important that I keep up with my audiobooks and podcasts not because I love them which I do but because if you go too long without wearing the implant, you lose your ability to understand stuff. I  didn’t believe it until I went a week or so then put the implant back on and everything sounded weird.  I do not want to backtrack on any progress that I have made. It is important that I use the implant a liter every day.

Keep up with my blogging schedule

I have my editorial calendar in Trello.  I just need to sit down and write out my blog posts. I aim to get at least two weeks ahead so that if I have a day where I am unable to write, I won’t get behind or miss a day. I know with my anxiety I will have off days and I need to be prepared for that.

Get back into an exercise  routine

I was doing well with my BBG workouts then the whole not sleeping and arthritis pain kicked in, and I fell off the exercise wagon. I am lucky that you can do BBG at home also. I have a treadmill at home now also, so there is no reason not to do my BBG routine here.

 Start mediating with headspace

Awhile ago Headspace had a sale for 20 dollars for six months, and I took advantage of it. The sad part is that I have not used it since I bought it. I want to start up my whole morning routine again that includes mediating.

Get my resource  library up and running

I have had this idea for ages but for one reason or another have not been able to work on it. I finally have time to work on it so I want to get at least five articles written so that I can launch the resource library.
