Start With Why has led millions of readers to rethink everything they do – in their personal lives, their careers and their organizations.   Now Find Your Why picks up where Start With Why left off. It shows you how to apply Simon Sinek’s powerful insights so that you can find more inspiration at work -- and in turn inspire those around you.   I believe fulfillment is a right and not a privilege. We are all entitled to wake up in the morning inspired to go to work, feel safe when we’re there and return home fulfilled at the end of the day. Achieving that fulfillment starts with understanding exactly WHY we do what we do.    As Start With Why has spread around the world, countless readers have asked me the same question: How can I apply Start With Why to my career, team, company or nonprofit? Along with two of my colleagues, Peter Docker and David Mead, I created this hands-on, step-by-step guide to help you find your WHY.

With detailed exercises, illustrations, and action steps for every stage of the process, Find Your Why can help you address many important concerns, including:   * What if my WHY sounds just like my competitor’s?* Can I have more than one WHY?* If my work doesn’t match my WHY, what should I do?* What if my team can’t agree on our WHY?   Whether you've just started your first job, are leading a team, or are CEO of your own company, the exercises in this book will help guide you on a path to long-term success and fulfillment, for both you and your colleagues.    Thank you for joining us as we work together to build a world in which more people start with WHY.   Inspire on!-- Simon

  • I just want to point out that I am Profoundly Deaf since birth and received a Cochlear Ear Implant In my right year in 2016 and my left ear in 2017. So audiobooks are REALLY new to me, and I use them to practice my listening mostly. My reviews are what I thought and felt while listening and sometimes I have trouble or can’t understand a book and I will say so HOWEVER, this is to be taken into consideration that I am a recent implant recipient and it should in no way discourage you from trying out the audiobook! Often if I can’t understand a book, I will seek out the print book, and that will probably be my “real” reaction to the story or information contained therein.*

I legit thought I was reading Start with Why. I have meant to read Start With Why for a while. Leave it to me to get shit mixed up like this. This is not the first time I have mixed up books such as this. Anyway, I thought I woy=uld listen to this and see what I could glean from it.

What I Liked

I liked that it went into detail about how to find you why.  I am assuming that the actual book Start With Why does not go into how to find out what you why is. I feel that it is essential to know WHAT your why is so that you can benefit from WHY it is necessary to see and understand so that you are always operating on your principles.

I loved the inspiring stories that were sprinkled throughout out this book. I was feeling kinda down on some of the days that I listened to this and it helped me start to feel more inspired.

What I did not Like

I listened to the auf=dio version, and I realized partway through that this is a workbook, This would have been better suited to read as a dead-tree book. I wish that that was more clear before I  had downloaded it and all.

I did not like the teamwork aspect of it. I cant imagining opening up to strangers as the book says. I mean some of the stories I have are intensely personal. Plus I am a HUGE introvert.  I have a hard enough time having an ordinary convo with people I do not know well. I have already found my way, but if i hadn’t I would be put off by the whole talking to strangers approach..

I felt that this was a great book. It would have been ever better in dead-tree form as this is a workbook mostly. I liked that it had inspiring messages, but you need to have read START WITH WHY before this book to get the most of it. Which I did not do but ah well. Now I am off to listen to Start With Why
