Personal and Bookish Goals for December 2017

How the hell is it December already?!? It is like I blinked and this year was gone. Granted I will be glad to put 2017 behind me. The last couple of months have been fantastic, but between an excruciating Choclear implant surgery and being depressed for six months overall, it was ughhhh.
I have hi hopes for 2018 though. I have made some goals and adjustments that I feel will prevent me from falling into a depression like that ever again.

Stay Paleo

I have gone hardcore paleo in the last couple of weeks. I have started limiting the number of lights I have on in my apartment after sunset to being ultra strict about what I eat. It has helped tremendously. I am sleeping better I feel better than I have in a long time. My ADHD, anxiety, and depression is gone among other things. I plan to write an in-depth post about this later on so stay tuned!

Exercise everyday

This has become an ingrained habit. I feel as if I cant start my day without a good hard workout. For example, I am writing this the day before, and I was super tired this am so I thought I would skip my workout. I have felt off all day, and I have been so not productive. I finally got off my ass to get decent for my mastermind meeting but other than that ughh. I vow to never skip a workout again. I am slightly hyperbolic with that statement, but you get my drift.

Continue to explore the world of audiobooks

I LOVE AUDIOBOOKS SO HARD! I know some of you may be like calm down Hillary! I was born and raised profoundly Deaf, and even when they approved my implants, the Dr was like well “don’t expect tooo much” When I started passing hearing tests I blew them all away. When I got a damn 80 percent speech recognition up from a 0.9 percent without my hearing aids in two years the whole team almost shit their pants. When I Was finally able to understand audiobooks, I nearly shit MY pants. I feel as if I have finally reached the holy grail. I CAN HEAR!

Read/Listen to at least ten books

I want to read or listen to at least ten books this month. For a while, I was in a major reading slump, but I am out of it now, so we shall see how many books I read.

Do my Miracle Morning Routine.

I have finally found a routine that works for me and that makes me ultra productive. I made some tweaks. I want to reread the Miracle Morning this month to take in all that he talks about.
