What I am reading 1-8-2016

I am reading again!!! Slowly but surely my reading mojo is coming back. Mostly I have a severe anxiety attack that lasted a WEEK (I am all better now), and all I did was listen to my audiobook on Brain Fog Fix to bring some relif. Who knew that audiobooks had that capability?!?!

I also FINALLY read my ARC Mask Of Shadows. Tthe review should be up tomorrow! I managed this in bouts between when my anxiety lessened, and I could focus.

As for my anxiety, it was brought on when I neglected my self-care practices over the holidays. That brought on my new means of healthy living is EVERYDAY!! Holidays or no. So lessoned learned.

My copy of Lincoln in the Bardo audiobook came in for me on overdrive! I haven’t really tried fiction on audiobooks, but after seeing how so many book bloggers LOVED it on audio, I wanted to give it a try. I am going to listen to that this week and read my copy of Whole30 as I have started the whole30 for the year. Yeah I am doing a whole360 lol.

I also want to read Joan Didion  Year of Magical Thinking that I have out from the library.

I think I will start with those three and see how that goes this week. I miss the days I could get through a book a day, and I AM still getting better from being “sick” last year. I know mental illness is as valid as cancer and I should take things slow as if I was recovering from something such as cancer people would tell me to take it slow, so I just gotta remember that.

Also If you haven’t, I would love it if you would take a survey on what you want to see on the blog in the coming year!

I am glad that you are feeling better and getting your reading mojo back. I am not a fan of audiobooks because I prefer seeing to hearing. I hope you enjoy your books. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
