I am pleased to say that Marbles the Kitten and I made it to my parent’s house in one piece. The hardest part was convincing Marbles to get in his cage yesterday am. My parents were ready to hit the road at around 8 am. I had woken up at 1 am and count get back to sleep so i binged watched the entire first season of Stranger Things on Netflix. OMG, that shows is sooooo good. I was glued to my puter screen (as my Roku was already packed.) soooo much nerdy 80’s goodness.  It brought back memories of Dungeons and Dragons back in the day. especially how my friends wrote my big ass hearing aid box into our script. yeah, i was a superhero before superheroes were cool.

I am still a nerd and a geek but at least we are cool these days so yay? anyway.. it took me and my parents a dang hour to catch marbles and stuff him in his cage. I am just glad no animal rights people could see me as that kitten pissed me off with all his meowing and screaming and clawing. I finally grabbed one of his legs yanked him from under the couch and stuffed him in the cage. Marbles then proceeded to try and dig and claw his way out. I was afraid he was gonna rip out a claw and we all have to take an ER vet trip. He finally calmed down when I put my finger on his head. In the end, we all made it to my parent’s house where he spent the night on the couch.

Before I fell asleep in the car I listened to some of Get Well Soon on audio. i forgot to put on the sleep timer so i lost my place but ahh well i am sure i will find it. the last thing I remember is the narrator explaining how bubonic plague spread through rat fleas. Gross but fascinating.

het well soon

I am also in the middle od Mask Of Shadows. I kinda wish the main dude would die in that book to save us all some misery but since we know there is a book two that the main dude lives past book 1 SO….i am hoping to knock that out in the upcoming week.
