Last week my nook broke. When my friends asked why I was so sad I told them my book broke. Well that’s what we get for living in an era of technology. Lucky it was still under warranty so I got another one for free.Sandy held up the delivering of my new nook but it has finally been shipped and should be here on Tuesday!

I got a lot of reviews posted finally I think I am back into the reading and blogging groove. My increase of my adhd meds seem to be working so I can read for long glorious stretches at a time.

My reviews this week were:

Unstuck– It started of my new feature of Faith Fridays. Where I will post anything related to the Christian faith. Non Fiction and Fiction alike.

Oil on Water– A book set in Nigeria’s oil delta. It left me riveted to my seat.

Get Your Act Together– A precursor to the website Flylady. It had some good ideas if a bit outdated.

Deaf Our Way– This was the 1977 version which left me taking a trip down memory lane before all these new technologies cropped up.

Today I will be reading My Heart Stopped Beating. Which is a review book. It starts out nice and sweet then you wouldn’t believe what that girl endured. I am halfway through the book and my jaw has hit the floor multiple times. The fact it is a true story just makes my heart break over and over again.

  1. Oh, I hate that aspect of technology! My computer was dying a few months ago; and then my big screen TV did, too (several older, clunkier ones were still going strong!).

Glad you managed it under warranty.

Hope you enjoy it when it arrives.

    Here’s MY SUNDAY SALON POST

Oh, no! That would be so stressful, especially if you were in the middle of a REALLY good book. Glad it got replaced 🙂
